A Message From Ms. Braxton


Ms. Braxton is the birth mother of six and a relative
caregiver to her great-nephew. She is currently a member
of the Family Centered Systems Of Care Committee and
the Chairperson of the Family Advisory Council in the
State Of Kansas.
It is her hope that one day parents will have a voice in all
aspects of the child welfare system.
Ms. Braxton is working on bringing families to the table
with the new face of Family Centered Systems of Care in
the State Of Kansas.

When a social worker sits down at the table to discuss the
outcome of you and your child's life,
I am paving the way for the parent/parents to be there.
" There should never be anything discussed    about us,
without us"
