Services
As Family Engagement Consultants, we work in partnership with child welfare agencies and family partners across the country to
improve child welfare outcomes for children and families.

Our work with state child welfare agencies is guided by the principles of Systems of Care as a way to promote safety, permanency,
and well-being for children and families involved with, or at risk of becoming involved with the child welfare system.

We work in partnership with state and county child welfare systems to create collaborative partnerships among diverse groups of
parents and caregivers (birth, foster, adoptive parents and kin caregivers) groups as well as between these family members and
agency service providers (child welfare, law enforcement, substance abuse treatment centers, and the courts) to sustain these
collaborative partnerships over time.
We provide consultation to child welfare agencies, substance abuse
treatment centers, and the courts on how to meaningfully engage parents as
partners in the outcomes of their cases.

We provide education and training to social workers, case managers,
supervisors, substance abuse treatment centers and court systems as well
as communities at large, on how to effectively engage families to work
together in partnership towards better outcomes for our children.

We provide education and training to help to empower, strengthen and
prepare birth families to work together in partnership with all agencies and
child welfare providers involved in their case plans. Reminding families, that
timely permanency for our children is our #1 goal.
